The Chinese Academy of Engineering and the Yunnan Provincial Government, Pu’er County organized the Science and Technology Poverty Alleviation Work Promotion Conference on April 8 in Pu’er. The conference thoroughly studied and implemented CPC General Secretary Xi Jinping’s guidelines on poverty alleviation. On the occasion, Chinese Academy of Engineering shared its experiences for help the county’s poverty alleviation work based on science and technology.

Li Xiaohong, dean of Chinese Academy of Engineering, and Ruan Chengfa, deputy secretary of Yunnan Provincial Party Committee and the governor of Yunnan Provincial Government, attended the event and delivered speeches.
