Pu'er Tea-Horse Road is called Turtledove Slope Tea-Horse Road in Simao District and Nakeli Tea-Horse Road in Ning'er Hani and Yi Autonomous County.
The Turtledove Slope section of the Tea-Horse Road is 14.5 kilometers long, the longest and most completely preserved section of the ancient tea-horse road with the thickest ancient tea-horse culture and the best scenery along it. It is known as the "living fossil in the history of transportation in China and even the world", "a long stream of Tea-Horse culture", and "a touchable history".
The Nakeli section is 4.4 kilometers long and is well preserved.
