Laohekou New Year woodcut pictures appear in Berlin

From July 4 to 8, "Stories of Intangible Cultural Heritage along the Yangtze River-Hubei Intangible Cultural Heritage Show" was held in Berlin. 10 fine intangible cultural heritage items including paper cutting, Han embroidery, shadow puppet and New Year woodcut pictures were on show.

Laohekou New Year woodcut pictures from Xiangyang were shown by Chen Hongbin, grandson of Chen Yiwen, an 86-year-old successor of New Year woodcut pictures.

Laohekou New Year woodcut pictures are a branch of Chinese New Year woodcut pictures and a time-honored Han folk art.
