On the afternoon of March 16, Li Lecheng, Secretary of the CPC Xiangyang Municipal Committee, visited the headquarters of Dongfeng Motor Corporation (DFM) in Wuhan, and held talks with Zhu Yanfeng, Chairman and Party Secretary of DFM. Li expected Xiangyang to deepen the practical cooperation with DFM to polish Xiangyang's name of "Chinese capital of new energy vehicles".

DFM achieved sales of over 4.2 million units in 2016, making a good start in the "thirteenth five-year" period. In the first two months of this year, DFM has sold over 600,000 units.
