BEIJING, March 1 -- Four former officials from south China's Guangdong Province are being investigated on suspicion of accepting bribes, according to a statement released by the Supreme People's Procuratorate on Tuesday.
They include Zhu Zejun, former head of the provincial administration for industry and commerce, and Wu Sha, a former standing committee member of the Guangzhou City committee of the Communist Party of China and also former head of the city committee's commission for political and legal affairs.
The other two suspects, who have also been arrested, are Liu Huixiang, former vice mayor of Zhaoqing City, and Nie Dangquan, former deputy head of the Standing Committee of the Jiangmen City People's Congress.
