Recently, the Certification and Accreditation Administration of the People’s Republic of China (or CNCA for short) announced the list of national organic product certification demonstration districts of 2015, which included 17 counties (cities or districts). Among 3 listed counties (districts) of Yunnan, Simao District made itself the first national organic product certification demonstration district of Pu’er City.

So far, 54 counties (cities or districts) nationwide have won the title of “National Organic Product Certification Demonstration Districts” from CNCA. 4 counties (districts) in Yunnan have been awarded the title, namely Yiliang County (in 2011), Simao District, Yangbi County and Binchuan County (in 2015).
