Slovakian sells functional products to China

Bei Jingming, a partner of the Dinghui Trade International, imports specialty food from Slovakia.

The "Belt and Road" initiatives bring growing cooperation between China and the central and east European countries (CEEC). Bei Jingming came to Ningbo, east China's Jiangsu province, and arranged the Slovakia Pavilion at the CEEC Special Products Fair held in June 2015.

Bei Jingming saw potential of Chinese market in the exhibition. At that time, he decided to sell the functional drinks of Slovakia to China. The first batch of functional drinks landed in Ningbo in mid September.

Bei Jingming holds that Chinese people become more and more interested in the products of Slovakia. And as a country with numerous small and medium-sized companies, Slovakia has realized this.

Bei Jingming said that an article with the title of "Ningbo, a gateway for Slovakian products to Chinese market" was published on a popular newspaper in Slovakia in recent days, showing the Slovakians know more and more about the significance of Ningbo for the trade between the two countries.

He believes that he will close more deals in the near future. A couple of days later, his Chinese wife will leave Slovakia and join him in Ningbo.
