Wang Hongai, a single man of 42, becomes a freshman of Wuhan University of Engineering Science for a second time, and the first time happened in 2009 when he was admitted to the same university.

In 2009, the first time Wang Hongai enrolled in Wuhan University of Engineering Science, he was already 36 years old. However, easy-going and talktive, he studied, chatted, and even played online games with roommates. Instead of "Uncle Wang", he preferred to be called "Buddy Wang". Thus, he got well along with his classmates.

When Wang Hongai was in his 20s, he had a stable job, being a cashier in a local bank of Dangyang. However, because he was not used to the interpersonal relationship in the bank and was tired of the simple and repeated work every day, he decided to change his job. He met difficulties in finding new jobs since he resigned in 2002, and in 2008, he came up with the idea of further study in the university. After one year of self-study, he was admitted by Wuhan University of Engineering Science in 2009, majoring in marketing and planning as a junior college student.

After graduation, his situation of job hunting changed little, and he was even addicted to online games once. Later, he was touched by a piece of news about Liang Shi who had attended college entrance examination for many times but never given up, so he started to prepare college entrance examination again.

This time, he wants to learn a skill rather than just seeking for a diploma so that after graduation, he can find a nice job, taking care of himself and his family, said Wang.
