The Remains of a Chinese security guard who was killed in a suicide bombing attack in #Somalia was escorted home on Saturday.
Zhang Nan, who worked with the Chinese #Embassy in Mogadishu, capital of Somalia, was one of the 13 killed in the bomb attack at the Jazeera Hotel on July 26. He was only 28 years old.
The hotel, which houses the diplomatic missions of China, Qatar and UAE, has been the target of suicide bombing attacks in the past, including one in 2012.
The coffin containing Zhang's body was flown back to the Yaoqiang International Airport in Jinan, China's eastern province of Shandong, where Zhang had been served at a local armed police unit.
A memorial service is scheduled to be held in Jinan Sunday morning to pay last respect to his remains of Zhang, who has been called a hero in China.
