Beijing is ready to show the world why the 2008 Summer Olympics host city is capable of staging another amazing sporting event at Friday's final presentation.
The 128th International Olympic Committee Session takes place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia where the hosts for the 2022 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games will be selected between Beijing and Kazakhstan's Almaty. Each city will have 55 minutes to stake their claim.
Led by Vice-Premier Liu Yandong, Beijing has sent an all-star team including Chinese short track speed skater and International Olympic Committee (IOC) member Yang Yang, bid ambassador Yao Ming and Li Nina.
To make sure everything goes according to plan at the crucial moment, the delegation has undertaken several rehearsals since their arrival last Saturday.
The presentation stresses the Chinese people's enthusiasm for winter sports and anticipation of hosting the Winter Olympics, showing Beijing's beautiful winter scenes, Games venues, the country's winter sport tradition and culture.
A report by the IOC's evaluation committee will follow the cities' presentations and IOC members will then vote. IOC President Thomas Bach will announce the winner and sign a contract with the host city.
