Check out this epic aerial battle between a bald eagle and two seagulls. David Canales captured this once-in-a-lifetime photo from his kayak on Prince William Sound in Alaska while on an 11-day expedition from Valdez to Whittier.
David Canales, a photographer from Alaska, took the photos and shared on the U.S. Department of Interior’s Facebook page with the caption.
Bald eagles normally feed on fish, but they will also dine on ducks and birds or prey that is abundantly available.
The question by those who viewed the amazing photograph was “who won?” The U.S. Department of Interior shared that the eagle was the clear victor. “The gull above the eagle gave up and the other one wasn’t able to free itself.”
