BEIJING, July 1-- Li Wei, former vice mayor of Mianyang city in southwest China's Sichuan Province, is being investigated for "serious violation of discipline and law", the provincial people's procuratorate announced on Wednesday.
Li, also a former standing committee member of Mianyang's municipal Party committee, is suspected of taking bribes, said the prosecuting department.
