The other interesting teams playing in the mixed doubles are third seeds Lee Sangsu and Park Youngsook of South Korea and ninth seeds Chuang Chih-Yuan and Cheng I-Ching of Chinese Taipei playing against teams from Malaysia and Greece respectively.

Elsewhere, No.2 seeds Jiang Tianyi and Lee Ho Ching of Hongkong of China lead the bill in their match against Panagiotis Gionis and Aikaterini Toliou from Greece.

Chinese Xu Xin and Yang Haeun of South Korea will play Slovenian pair Bojan Tokic and Manca Fajmut and Japan's great hopes in this event Koki Niwa and Sayaka Hirano take on Chew Zhe Yu Clarence and Li Isabelle Siyun from Singapore.
