JAKARTA, April 17 -- Police did not find any bomb at a Batik Air flight with 122 people after the crew received a bomb threat and made an emergency landing on Friday, official said here.

The crew received information from the air traffic control that a bomb had been put in the plane on route from Ambon city in eastern Indonesia to Jakarta, said J.A. Barata, spokesman of the Indonesian transport ministry.

"The plane was diverted to the nearest Sultan Hassanudin airport. After landing at the airport, the plane was isolated from other planes," he told Xinhua over the phone.

"After the checking by the police, there was no bomb found in the plane," said Barata.

The operation of the Sultan Hassanudin airport had not been disturbed, he said.

Batik is a subsidiary of Indonesia's budget carrier Lion Air.
