On December 15 Milan Time, Shanghai Yimin Food First Plant (Group) Co., Ltd. under Bright Food Group (Bright Food) wound up the acquisition of the 90% equity of Italian olive oil producer Salov in Milan.

This was Bright Food's first overseas acquisition completed via the free trade area platform. The platform provided policy support to help the enterprise reduce business cost, increase working efficiency and perform the acquisition more conveniently.

Headquartered in Tuscany, Italy, with operating revenues of some 300 million euros, Salov is a time-honored enterprise specialized in olive oil production and sales. With a history of nearly 150 years, Salvo's olive oil brand Filippo Berio is from Tuscany, one of Italy's most prestigious olive oil producing areas. Its olive oil plays a leading role in Italy, the USA and the UK, and sells well in more than 70 countries.
