BEIJING, Oct. 16 -- Tanzanian President Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete will pay a state visit to China from Oct. 21 to 26, a Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman said Thursday.

Kikwete is making the visit at the invitation of his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping, spokesman Hong Lei told a daily press briefing.
