SEOUL, July 17 -- A helicopter crashed in the downtown of Gwangju, about 330 km south of the South Korean capital city of Seoul, Yonhap News Agency reported Thursday.
The South Korean Air Forces was cited as saying that the crashed chopper seemed to a firefighting helicopter.
Casualties were feared as the helicopter crashed into the center of the city.
