QINGDAO, Shandong, July 2 -- China's top procuratorate on Wednesday vowed a crackdown on terrorist activities.
The Supreme People's Procuratorate will consider legal measures against online videos that instigate terrorism-related violence, it said at a symposium.
It will also crack down on screenings of illegal audio and visual products to "sweep out the soil breeding the violent and terrorist forces."
The top procuratorate also revealed that it approved the arrest of 317,458 criminal suspects in the first five months of this year, and prosecuted 488,194 people.
