WUHAN, June 3 -- A former senior state-owned assets official in central China's Hubei Province has been sacked from his post and expelled from the Communist Party of China, said local discipline watchdog.
An investigation showed Lu Lijun, former deputy head of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of Hubei, abused power and took or asked for bribes to seek interests for others, said the CPC discipline watchdog in Hubei.
Lu seriously violated discipline and the law. His suspected offenses have been passed to judicial authorities.
