ANKARA, June 3 -- Turkey has listed the al-Nusra Front, a branch of al-Qaida operating mainly in Syria, as a terrorist organization, local Daily News reported on Tuesday.
The Turkish government also decided to place Agus Dwikarna on the list of "individuals who are affiliated with al-Qaida," according to the official Gazette.
The decision includes freezing assets of individuals and organizations termed as terrorists.
Al-Nusra Front was designated as a terrorist organization by the United States in December 2012.
Agus Dwikarna is a Jemaah Islamiyah (Islamic Group) member and facilitator for al-Qaida in Indonesia, according to the United Nations.
