A Chinese-branded car successfully passed the North American standard FMVSS208 rollover tests in Chongqing on Jan. 14, 2014. The car made two rotations in the air at a speed of 48km/h and landed about 20 meters away. Both sides of the doors were not opened during the rollover and could be opened after the rotation. The cabin was preserved well too. Industry insiders said this was the first such test for a Chinese-branded car.
