An electric bus produced by Chinese company BYD has been put on trial in Munich, Germany recently. Its fresh look attracted lots of attention.
Feedback from passengers
Most of the passengers noticed the differences of this green bus and shared their riding experiences: "very comfortable"; "the engine's sound is different from gasoline car." The convenient facilities on the bus are also praised by disabled passengers.
Michael Solic, spokesman from Munich Transport Corporation said: "The passengers are satisfied with the stability when the bus speeds up."
Market prospect
"Eco-friendly bus is not popular in Germany, so it is a good opportunity for Chinese electric vehicle manufacturers which have advantages in price and quality. said Zhang Weiping, with Chinese embassy to Germany,
Germany imported the first electric vehicle made in China in 2012. It is now operating in Pinneberg. Bremen will import electric vehicles from China too. Most passengers believe green car will reduce emission, but some have doubts about the battery’s lifetime, endurance and the higher price of the car.
