The program of Modern Ark 700 (MA 700), a new turbo-propelled regional aircraft, is to be launched and it will be put into market in 2019, according to reports of People’s Daily On Friday.

China Aviation Industry Corporation I (AVIC I) announced this on December 19. It is understood that turboprop regional aircraft is the most economical and energy-efficient on short and medium range flights within 800 kilometers.

After put into market in 2019, The MA 700 will join C919, China's first homegrown large passenger aircraft and ARJ 21, the indigenously developed regional jet, to form the series of China’s complete civil aircraft.
