11 heads of state, 1,200 CEOs plan to attend APEC meeting in Bali: Indonesian minister

Indonesian Trade Minister Gita Wirjawan said on Thursday that 11 head of states and 1,200 chief executive officers (CEOs) of global firms have already confirmed that they will take part in the APEC meeting in Bali from Oct. 1 to 10.

The CEOs will participate in the CEO Summit, which will be held on the sidelines of APEC Summit, said Gita.

"As many as 1,200 CEOs, chairman of companies from all over the world and 11 heads of states have confirmed to participate," he said.

The presence of the CEOs positively signaled investment flows in the region, including Indonesia, according to Gita.
