China will continue to complete work related to the pilot free trade zone (FTA) in Shanghai and accelerate the establishment of the supervision system, said Ministry of Commerce spokesperson Shen Danyang on Tuesday.

At the same time, China will make use of the experience gained through the Shanghai FTA and establish new free trade parks or ports, according to Shen.

In addition, the Ministry of Commerce will promote four areas of reform: reform in the domestic trade circulation system, innovation in the management system for foreign investment, reform in the management system for outbound investment and cooperation, and further reform of foreign trade management.
