WASHINGTON, March 5 -- China's comprehensive reform will not only benefit its future development, but also provide opportunities for China-U.S. cooperation in various fields, a Chinese expert has said.
Zheng Xinli, executive vice president of the China Center for International Economic Exchanges, made the remarks during a four-day visit to the United States to introduce policies made last year at the third plenum of the 18th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC).
In response, the U.S. side spoke highly of the CPC's determination and courage in adhering to reform and opening up. The U.S. side believed that more exchanges and enhanced mutual trust are important for the sound development of bilateral relations.
During the visit, Zheng met officials, attended a seminar and exchanged ideas with media outlets such as The Washington Post and The Wall Street Journal.
