LJUBLJANA, March 3 -- Slovenia condemned on Monday the brutal attacks at the Kunming Railway Station in China's Yunnan province, and expressed condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims.
"We strongly condemn such hideous attacks against innocent civilians that cannot be justified," Foreign Minister Karl Erjavec has asked his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi to convey his heartfelt sympathy to the families of the victims, the Slovenian Foreign Ministry said in a press release.
A gang of eight knife-wielding attackers, including two females, attacked on Saturday the railway station in Kunming, the capital of Yunnan province, killing 29 people and injuring 143.
Four of the terrorists were shot dead on spot, one was injured, and the three others were arrested later, according to a latest official report.
