Video: Li: 2014 year for promotion of investment and trade

Premier Li Keqiang has held talks with leaders from 16 Central and Eastern European countries. At the opening ceremony of the third China-CEE economic forum, Premier Li declared that the year 2014 will be designated as the year for promotion of investment and trade between China and CEE countries.

Premier Li stressed that China and Eastern European countries have shared a traditional friendship, and all face challenges and opportunities in economic development.

Also attending the events are around 200 dignitaries and representatives of major Chinese companies.

Premier Li said at the economic forum that collaboration between China and CEE would enhance cooperation between China and the EU. He also said China wants to double its trade with the 16 countries of the region in the next five years.
