SAN JOSE, Nov. 22 -- A meeting of local officials from China and Latin America will be held here on Nov. 26-27, Costa Rica's Ministry of External Trade announced Friday.
At the event, part of the 7th China-Latin America and the Caribbean Business Summit, municipal and provincial officials from both sides would discuss the impact of climate change, sustainable development, public-private cooperation to promote competitiveness of their cities.
Around 850 representatives from Latin America and another 260 from China will participate in the summit, which is co-sponsored by China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and the Inter-American Development Bank.
