HANOI, Oct. 29 -- At the invitation of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV), a delegation of the Communist Party of China (CPC) led by Luo Huining, member of the CPC Central Committee and Secretary of CPC Committee in China's northwestern province of Qinghai, visited Vietnam from Saturday to Tuesday.
Luo met with Pham Quang Nghi, Politburo member of CPV Central Committee and Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee; Hoang Binh Quan, member of the CPV Central Committee and Head of its Commission for External Relations; Vu Huy Hoang, Vietnamese Minister of Industry and Trade; Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, Vice Secretary of Vietnam's southern Ho Chi Minh City municipal Party Committee; and attended Qinghai trade fair held in Vietnam's capital Hanoi.
Luo told his Vietnamese hosts that China is ready to implement the consensus reached by leaders of the two parties and states under the principles of 16-word motto of "friendly neighborliness, comprehensive cooperation, long-term stability and looking towards the future" and the four-good spirit of "good neighbors, good friends, good comrades and good partners" in order to deepen the comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership between China and Vietnam.
Meanwhile, the Vietnamese side expressed its willingness to continue nurturing and consolidating the traditional friendship with China, strengthening pragmatic cooperation in all areas and promoting the long-term, sound and stable development of the bilateral relationship.
