BEIJING, Aug. 29 -- Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi on Thursday met with Indonesia's Foreign Minister Marty Natalegawa.
Wang hailed the development of China-Indonesia relations and called on the two sides to strengthen high-level communication as well as promote cooperation in fields of trade, mining, aerospace, sea and culture.
As a big family, China and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) should further enhance mutual trust and deepen cooperation, he said.
Marty Natalegawa, who attended a special meeting of Chinese and ASEAN foreign ministers on Thursday, spoke highly of the meeting and Indonesia-China relations, saying Indonesia is ready to deepen strategic cooperation with China in bilateral and multilateral areas.
