KUNMING, Feb. 4 -- Six people died and three were injured after a minibus fell off from a highway bridge Tuesday in southwest China's Yunnan Province, local government said.

The minibus fell down from the highway bridge in Niuchang township, Zhenxiong County at 3:40 p.m. Tuesday, said the county government.

The injured have been rushed to the Zhenxiong People's Hospital for treatment.

The cause of the accident is being investigated.

In a separate accident, two died when a bus fell more than 50 meters off a cliff on Tuesday in south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.
