A suspect was arrested on Tuesday after a four-month-old boy was found killed and concealed in a washing machine in a Shanghai home in November, said local procuratorate authorities.

The suspect, surnamed Lei, was arrested on suspicion of intentional homicide against the son of her brother-in-law, said the Songjiang District People's Procuratorate.

Shanghai police on Nov. 24 received a report saying a four-month-old boy was missing from his home. On Nov. 27, the boy was found in the washing machine at home.
