HANSHOU, Hunan, April 29 (Xinhua) -- Three tourists from Taiwan were killed and two others seriously injured after a bus overturned in central China's Hunan Province Monday, local authorities said.
The accident took place at about 11 a.m. when a bus carrying 13 Taiwanese tourists overturned on an expressway in Hanshou County of Changde City, a spokesman with the Changde municipal government said.
The injured have been rushed to hospital, the spokesman said.
The bus was heading from the provincial capital Changsha to the Zhangjiajie scenic spot, the spokesman said.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
