BEIJING, Jan. 18 (Xinhua) -- A 5.4-magnitude earthquake jolted the Baiyu County in Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of southwest China's Sichuan Province 8:42 p.m. Friday Beijing Time, the China Earthquake Networks Center said.
The epicenter was monitored at 31.0 degrees north latitude and 99.4 degrees east longitude with a depth of 15 km, according to the center.
