BEIJING, November 11 (ChinaMil) -- The recruitment of civilian personnel in the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) will be unified from this year. The online registration for recruitment in 2014 started at 08:00, October 22 and ended at 18:00, November 5, 2013.
According to statistics, a total of over 100,000 applicants have registered for application, the ratio of applicant numbers over recruiting numbers being 38:1.
All the applicants, aged 25 on average, have received full-time college education, with 92 percent of them having bachelor's degree or above and 30 percent of them having master's degree or above, laying a good foundation for extensive talent selection
The unified recruitment of civilian personnel in the PLA attracted wide attention and won the good opinion of the society. www.81rc.mil.cn, the website for registration, has been visited more than three million times on average every day.
The public think positively of the PLA unified recruitment of civilian personnel, which they believe expands the social influence of the PLA's civilian personnel system and has great significance in improving overall quality of the PLA's civilian personnel.
According to the schedule, unified recruitment examination of civilian personnel will be held on December 15.
Announcement of exam results, physical examination, interview, political examination and employment contract conclusion, etc. will be carried out in January 2014 successively. All the recruitment work will be completed by the end of July 2014.
