British MPs vote against military action against Syria: media

LONDON, Aug. 29 (Xinhua) - British MPs have vetoed a possible military action against Syria over the alleged use of chemical weapons in domestic clashes, media reports said on Thursday night.

British Prime Minister David Cameron said he would "act accordingly" after the 285 to 272 vote showing that parliament did not support a military strike on Syria over the chemical weapons issue.
