BEIJING, Jan. 2 -- The Supreme People's Court on Thursday vowed to cut pomp and extravagance and ban court officials from misusing public funds as it steps up efforts to promote clean work styles among court officials.
The SPC said in a guideline that it will improve the management of court officials and correct unhealthy practices, including dining, the exchange of gifts and sightseeing tours at public expense, and private use of public vehicles.
The SPC vowed a "high-voltage" crackdown on corruption and zero-tolerance toward court officials' violations of discipline and laws.
