BEIJING, March 17 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Premier Li Keqiang said Sunday that China's reform and opening-up drive has changed the life of many Chinese, including himself.

Li said at a press conference that the reform and opening-up has changed the destiny of the country and lifted hundreds of millions of Chines people out of poverty.

"The responsibility of reform rests on our shoulders and we will try to make the dividends of reform benefit all the people," Li said. "We will make the elderly spend their remaining years in comfort and the young full of hope."
