"Gangnam Style" singer Psy has signed his first endorsement deal in China.
The South Korean superstar will be the new face for Vancl, an Internet-based apparel retailer, Chinese media reported.
The deal will allow Vancl to create new lines using Psy's image.
Vancl started in 2007 as a men's shirt e-retailer, and now its products cover men's wear, women's wear, children's wear, shoes, accessories, and cosmetics.
Psy is the first foreign endorser of Vancl, which is already represented by domestic singer-actress Li Yuchun, actor Huang Xiaoming, and writer and race car driver Han Han.
Psy became a global phenomenon with his hit song "Gangnam Style", which music video has been viewed more than 1.5 billion times on YouTube, and is the site's most watched video.
The singer's Chinese microblog on Sina Weibo has nearly 15 million followers.
He will release a new single called "Gentleman" on Saturday, April 13.
