The 2013 Hong Kong Badminton Open lowered its curtain here on Sunday as Wang Yihan of China won women's singles title and Lee Chong-Wei of Malaysia took gold in men's singles.

In women's singles final, No. 3 seed Wang Yihan came from behind to beat teammate Wang Shixian 21-15 in the third game to seal the victory.

"I'm just luckier in today's match. I seized the opportunity in the deciding game to win the match," said Wang Yihan. "But there were still problems in the match. I wasn't in my best situation for the recent time."

Wang Yihan ruled the first game by winning at 21-13 but fourth-seeded Wang Shixian quickly found her adjustment in the second game to tie the score at 1-1. Trailing by 8-11 in the final game, Wang Yihan took six points in a row to retain the lead and the title.

World's No. 1 Lee Chong-Wei only let his opponent Sony Dwi Kuncoro score nine points in the second game to win men's singles final. Lee dominated the final as he finished the match in less than 35 minutes.

Bao Yixin of China failed to take two golds as she lost in mixed doubles final. Pairing with Liu Cheng, Bao was defeated by England's Chris Adcock/Gabrielle White 14-21, 22-24. The Chinese pair wasted five game points in the second game and also the chance to touch the gold.

Six hours later, Bao finally tasted the gold as she paired Tang Jinghua to beat young teammates Ou Dongni/Tang Yuanting in women's doubles final. The score was 18-21, 21-16 and 21-15.

Lee Yong-Dae/Yoo Yeon-Seong of South Korea defeated teammates Kim Ki-Jung/Kim Sa Rang 12-21, 21-15 and 21-18 to win men's doubles title.
