China's top economic planner said on Friday that retail prices of gasoline and diesel will be raised by 235 yuan (38.08 U.S. dollars) and 225 yuan per tonne, respectively, starting Saturday.

It will be the fifth hike this year, the National Development and Reform Commission said in a statement on its website.
