HONG KONG, March 12 -- An earthquake measuring 6.1 on the Richter scale jolted Bismarck Sea, Papua New Guinea at 22:03 GMT on Tuesday, China Earthquake Networks Center said. The epicenter, with a depth of 10km, was initially determined to be at 3.1 degrees south latitude and 148.5 degrees east longitude.
