JAKARTA, Nov. 27 -- The Indonesian government through its embassy in Thailand's capital of Bangkok has cautioned its citizens staying in the city to stay away from places used by anti- government protesters to stage their demonstrations, a statement issued by the foreign affairs ministry said.
"Indonesian citizens in Thailand, particularly in Bangkok, were advised to avoid places used by protesters to stage their demonstrations such as in Democracy Monument and Rachadamdoen Street to avert from harmful things that may cost them," the statement said.
The government also called on Indonesian citizens not to get influenced and take part in the demonstrations, advising them to monitor the developing situations from places they have been staying in.
