Death toll in Nairobi mall attack rises to 43: Red Cross

NAIROBI, Sept. 22 (Xinhua) -- Kenya Red Cross Society said on Sunday that at least 43 people were killed and more than 200 were injured in the bloody attack carried out by gunmen in an upscale shopping mall in Kenya's capital Nairobi on Saturday.

The militant group Al-Shabaab has claimed the responsibility for the attack.
