Snowden gets certificate to leave airport transit zone: lawyer

The Federal Migration Service has issued fugitive U.S. intelligence whistleblower Edward Snowden with a certificate, which allows him to leave the Sheremetyevo international airport's transit zone, a lawyer assisting Snowden told the Interfax news agency Thursday.
