DAMASCUS, July 21 (Xinhua) -- Up to 25 Syrian civilians were killed and over 85 others injured on Sunday when Syrian armed opposition fired in the northwestern province of Idlib, pro- government Sham FM radio reported.
The victims, including women and children, were killed when the armed opposition fired a homemade missile at one of Syrian army's military points in Areha town, the report said, adding that the missile missed the target and hit a fairground in the town instead.
A local witness told Xinhua that this massacre was committed by the Free Syrian Army.
Meanwhile, the oppositional activists said that government troops shelled the town, adding that 19 people were killed and many others injured in the attack.
The Syrian conflict, which has killed more than 90,000 people, is going on between forces loyal to the Syrian government and those seeking to oust it.
