CHICAGO, June 13 (Xinhua) -- Four adult people, two men and two women in their early 40s and mid-50s, were killed in a shooting happening inside a business center, known as the Cherokee Place Business Incubator, in St. Louis, a city in the U.S. state of Missouri.
The shooting appeared to be a murder-suicide case and one of the men killed was said to be the shooter. But police could not find any witnesses to the shooting, local media reported.
By reviewing evidence, including a surveillance video, police officers determined there had been an argument in the office of a home health-care business before the shooting. It was believed that all the four killed were employees of the home health-care business.
Police recovered a semi-automatic handgun from the scene.
The building, where the shooting took place, houses a number of other independently owned and operated businesses, apart from the home health-care business.
