TOKYO, April, 21 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake measuring 6.1 on the Richter scale jolted Izu Islands, Japan at 03:22:16 GMT on Sunday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 424.10 km, was initially determined to be at 29.9151 degrees north latitude and 138.9262 degrees east longitude.
