S. Korean jet crashes into mountain: report

SEOUL, Nov. 15 (Xinhua) -- A trainer jet carrying one pilot crashed into a mountain in Heongseong country in South Korea's northern province of Gangwon, local media reported Thursday.

The T-50 jet crashed at around 10:28 a.m. local time, and a parachute was found near the crash site, Yonhap News Agency said citing local police.

Firefighters are currently putting out a fire near the crash site. No casualties have been reported.
